Measuring Principle of Pulping Degree Tester: According to the principle of Schopper - Riegler method designed for laboratory routine test instruments, according to the pulp knocking degree and pulp suspension filtration speed inversely proportional to the phenomenon of this phenomenon, the study of fiber conditions and assess the degree of pulp pulping.
How to use the pulping degree tester? Pulping degree tester test operation steps:
First, test preparation
Adjust and confirm the level of the instrument. Sample pulp. Please refer to Appendix A for details. Prepare 2g absolute dry pulp sample according to the regulations, the method is as follows:
Weigh after drying. This method is more, but slower.
Convert 2g of adiabatic pulp to pulp volume according to pulp consistency and measure with a measuring cup.
Extrusion method. Take a small amount of pulp with a special extrusion tool extrusion, take 6g extruded wet pulp approximate instead of 2g dry pulp.
The sample will be obtained into the preparation cylinder, add 200ml, 20 ℃ ± 0.5 ℃ of distilled water, pounded pieces of slurry and stirred. Continue to add distilled water, so that the amount of water to reach 1000ml.
Second, test
Check the copper mesh of the filling chamber, there should be no rust spots, breakage or unevenness and other defects, put the filling chamber into the water and wet the copper mesh. If the copper mesh is defective, replace it immediately.
Place the filling chamber on the separation chamber, and the outer cone of the filling chamber is close to the cone inside the separation chamber.
Turn the rope wheel so that the sealing cone enters the filling chamber until the wedge is retained and locked.
The sealing cone locking operation should be performed using the correct amount of force. Otherwise, when the wedge retention device is tight, incorrect force may prevent the sealing cone from being locked.
Measure and record the temperature of the specimen in the preparation cylinder.
Stir the specimen and carefully inject it into the filling chamber.
Place a demonstration measuring cylinder under the slant tube outlet of the separation chamber and another measuring cylinder under the straight tube to catch the water.
Press the retention handle, so that the sealing cone automatically rises, the slurry into the bottom of the filling chamber, the fiber is retained in the copper mesh, the water through the separation chamber of the two outlets out of the pipe.
Until the water no longer comes out of the water outlet of the slant pipe of the separation chamber, read the value of pulping degree (SR) from the indicator cylinder.
Take out the filling chamber and remove the slurry from the copper mesh.
Pour off the water in the two measuring cylinders and rinse the sealing cone and the separation chamber.
Replace the specimen according to the above steps for the next test.
Third, the treatment of measurement results
If the slurry taken for 2g absolute dry pulp, can be read directly from the indication of the number of cylinders on the pulping degree value (SR).
Each kind of pulp should be measured twice, take its arithmetic average as the measurement results, but the relative error between the two measured values shall not exceed 4%.
